My journey began the moment I graduated from Texas State University in 2005. My undergrad is a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and in the last semester of my senior year, one of my professors handed me a phone number of an aspiring hospitality firm in Houston and highly encouraged me to give them a call. At the time, I had no idea what field of Interior Design I wanted to explore – commercial or residential. I always knew though that I loved the challenge of understanding and implementing building and life safety codes that affect the common welfare of people.
